For more than 20 years the key principals of Elite Nutrition have been succeeding in the nutrition industry. Before launching the Elite brand we owned the franchise rights to six stores of another major nutrition chain, and it was through that firsthand experience learning what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t that helped us develop the Elite Nutrition License Agreement.
Why a Licence Agreement and not Franchising?
The vast majority of franchisee owners in the nutrition industry today are bound by corporate guidelines with heavy penalties to pay for deviating from the playbook. Stock this. Don’t stock that. Sell this. Don’t sell that. In the end, franchisee owners assume all the risk of owning the business but are greatly limited in their power to affect positive change or properly service the customer…and ultimately are really little more than corporate employees themselves.
The stores we owned the franchise rights to in the past were ONLY successful when we didn’t follow their over-priced and oppressively strict corporate system. We ran them like we run Elite Nutrition today: as mom and pop neighborhood nutrition stores with a high degree of attention to the details, insider knowledge and expert customer service. So that’s why we chose to expand the Elite Nutrition brand through License Agreements because that gives owners the much-needed freedom to make all the key decisions that impact their business.
With our license agreement the power and profits are placed squarely in the hands of the owner alone. Yes, we have a proven system that Elite Nutrition owners can follow. Yes, we can offer advice and suggestions about anything from the best brands to stock, to customer incentive programs to delicious smoothie recipes. But there is no franchise contract to bind you to any of it: we simply provide the tools and roadmap to a fully operational Vitamin and Natural Smoothie store that you actually control.

A helpful guide of what to order and ideas about where to put it in your new store. We carry all the best-selling brands in the nation, including many of the hardcore, cutting-edge products that corporate stores are not allowed to stock. These truly are the products that customers desire.
Private Label Supplements:
We Private Label several brands that contain only the most proven ingredients and are exclusive at Elite Nutrition stores, offering Licensees a very high-profit margin.
Advertising:
From radio to print ads to direct marketing, we have a host of options available to owners.
The Elite Loyalty Card:
Our proven, everyday discount program and data system keeps customers coming back.
Design and build-out assistance:
We’re capable of assisting you through the entire build-out process; everything from researching the best location, lease signing assistance, store design, construction (including plumbing), contacts for the fixtures, equipment, and graphics…right down to the menu boards and sign on the door. You can choose help with all, some, or none of the above.
Over 30 natural smoothie recipes:
Some of the healthiest and best tasting in the industry if we do say so ourselves. This invites an entirely new clientele to the stores.
Territory protection:
This gives you exclusive rights to a certain square mile radius around your store.
